The Lord's Supper
Prayer
The prayers will be led by a male member of the Church and are designed to thank God for His blessings and request His continued care for us. Prayer is stressed constantly in the Bible; therefore, we pray multiple times throughout each service. (Acts 2:42, 1 Timothy 2:1, 1 Corinthians 14:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Matthew 6:9-13)
As Christians, we are commanded to sing and make melody in our heart. No mechanical instruments of music will be used. We encourage you to sing along with us. (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)
The teaching is designed to instruct and exhort you in the ways of righteousness. You are invited to follow along in the Bible as the speaker presents the lesson. We feel sure you will leave greatly benefited by the Word of God being proclaimed. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The collection will be gathered only on the Lord’s Day. At this time, each member gives of their means as they prospered and have purposed in their heart. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
The Lord’s Supper, or Communion, is observed every first day of the week as Jesus instituted it and as He commanded the Church to do. (Matthew 26:26-28, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, 1 Corinthians 10:16, Acts 20:7)
